Last Minute travels can dampen the trip due to rise in the fuel prices. Tourism official still expect the number of travellers to increase for the last minute travels. They are worried for the airfares as during the last minute people can cancel their trips due to fuel prices are raising and they cannot reduce the airfares.

Alaska's last minute travels are usually more. Independent tourists make their own travel days and dates may have a problem during the last minute travel plans of their clients as they cannot increase the fares.
